Python Job: Tower System Administrator

Job Description:

To help us build functional systems that improve customer experience we are now looking for an experienced Tower System Administrator. They will be responsible for managing all aspects of the tower and delegating responsibilities for day-to-day work to various users.

Objectives of this Role:

As a Tower System Administrator, you will have full system administration privileges for tower with full read and write privileges over the entire tower installation.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively within the Engineering team to create and deploy Ansible solutions for a distributed datacenter infrastructure environment.
• Administer Ansible infrastructure, perform maintenance and configuration.
• Update system and process documentation, user guides, SOPs, and diagrams as needed.
• Should have experience in migration from one environment to another or ansible tower
• Perform the duties and responsibilities as a member of the Engineering team to refresh the
• current environment and improve the team’s automation processes, procedures, and
• governance.
• Create a scalable framework around building and maintaining APIs and integrations.
• Work with delivery team to understand functional requirements.
• Interact with other cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Mandatory - Dutch passport / VGB screening will be required.
• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
• Experience using REST APIs for automation purposes
• Experienced with operation of Windows/Linux (at least basic) and/or system management /
• automation applications and general understanding of IT-infrastructure
• Understanding of the agile development methodologies
• Ability to learn new technologies (Ansible Tower)
• Ability to drive and take responsibility for solutions
• Knowledge ServiceNow or Service management Tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Ansible, Ansible Tower, CACF platform
• Basic ansible development skills to understand job logs
• Knowledge of network connectivity (e.g., for ssh troubleshooting)
• Github experience
• Red Hat certification (RHEL, Ansible)
